Released on NABATE on january 1998. KIMUSAWEA hailed from Frankfurt, Germany, and this 12" is the follow up of their debut ep 7" on the MAXIMUM VOICE PRODUCTION label. The band split up the same year following the relocation of the singer Alex to Berlin. She screamed with now dufunct grindcore band BOLZ'N and has several other project to date (www.myspace.com/alexandravonbolzn). The sleeve was designed by the band and has one hole in the front and the lyrics are printed in varnish on the back. KIMUSAWEA remains the most sophisticated band on the NABATE catalog. Due to their originality and the slit up, the 12" didn't sell well.

review found on internet:
«This LP combines really cool abstract, artistic material and direct punk rock. Each songs has many layers, giving it a really full sound. Kimusawea have an intense sound that doesn't quit. A lot of German bands have this engaging style, but the female vocals bring in a hint of Nausea that can't be ignored. One track goes deep into a trance-like groove that reminded me of Neurosis. The packaging is also really impressive. The lyrics are printed in varnish on the back cover; a nice effect, but it does make them hard to read at times. A superb record.»
